Privacy policy

Screen-Printers Service respects the privacy of every client, supplier and website visitor. This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What information we collect and why

We collect only the information we need to assist with enquiries, quotations, artwork approval, production, dispatch and after-sales support. This may include a client name, company name, contact details, delivery address, order details, garment sizes, artwork files and instructions relating to screen printing or uniform printing.

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we use the details to respond, prepare quotes and manage your order. If you request courier delivery we may also collect the address and any access notes needed to complete delivery in Bloemfontein, the Free State or elsewhere in South Africa.

How we use personal information in daily operations

Personal information is used for practical business purposes only. We use it to communicate about pricing, artwork setup, stock availability, production timing, colour matching, size sorting, individual bagging and delivery arrangements.

  • To prepare and confirm quotations
  • To process and produce custom print orders
  • To send order status updates and delivery details
  • To keep records for invoicing, quality control and accounting
  • To resolve queries, corrections or reprints where needed

We may also use contact details to follow up on incomplete forms or missing artwork, because these details are often needed before production can begin.

Lawful basis, consent and POPIA compliance

We process personal information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to fulfil an order, to comply with legal obligations, or where you have given consent. Where consent is required, it will be requested clearly and may be withdrawn at any time, subject to legal or contractual obligations.

Screen-Printers Service, operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, takes reasonable steps to make sure personal information is processed lawfully and only for the purpose it was collected. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Sharing information with service providers and couriers

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate the business, such as courier companies, payment-related service providers, accounting support and production support services. These parties are required to handle information responsibly and only for the purpose of providing their services.

  • Courier and logistics partners for nationwide delivery
  • Administrative and accounting service providers
  • Artwork or production support where required to complete an order
  • Professional advisers or authorities where disclosure is required by law

Where information is shared, we aim to share only the minimum necessary details. For example, a courier may receive delivery details but not unnecessary order information.

Retention, storage and security measures

We keep personal information for as long as needed to complete the order, deal with queries, meet legal requirements and maintain business records. In some cases, records are retained for a longer period where tax, accounting or contractual duties apply.

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or alteration. These measures include controlled access to records, secure storage of order information and careful handling of artwork and client files. No method of storage is completely risk-free, but we work to reduce those risks as far as reasonably possible.

Your rights and how to contact us

Under POPIA, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for correction of inaccurate information, or object to certain processing where the law allows. You may also ask us to update contact details, delivery details or other information linked to your account or order.

  • Request access to your personal information
  • Request correction or deletion where appropriate
  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
  • Lodge a complaint about how your information is handled

Requests are handled through our enquiry form on the contact page. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information, especially where the request involves order history or delivery details.
